Ilmenite

Ilmenite, a titanium-iron oxide mineral (FeTiO3), plays a crucial role in various industries. It is employed in the production of Titanium Dioxide, utilized as a paint pigment. Titanium dioxide is a key component in the manufacturing of sunscreen, cosmetics, plastics, ink, paper, toothpaste, and certain food items like flour and icing sugar, enhancing their brightness. Additionally, ilmenite is integral to the fabrication of Ferro Alloys, as well as in the manufacturing of metal parts and welding electrodes.
